1. If you have not done so yet, you will need to initially register as a "New User". This one time registration will provide access to our website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please contact our office via email or phone and provide the company you are employed with, the branch location if applicable, your direct dial, cell number and fax number and we will register you in our system. Our system will send you an automated email with your user name and password as well as some general information about our automated system.
2. Once you are ready to order an appraisal, an order form is available on our website which can be located at www.c2cAppraisal.com . Click on "Client Log On" and enter the user name and password that were provided to you upon registration. Your established user name and password will give you access to an appraisal order form after clicking on “place an order”. This order form needs to be accurately completed and in full with your borrower's information and yours as well. Much of the information can be taken directly off the 1003 form. Obviously, it is important to make sure all the information submitted is accurate. This form should be quick and simple to complete in full. 3. Also needed with the order form before it is considered complete is the borrower’s payment information. This can be in the form of a Visa, MasterCard or online check. Should your borrower not feel comfortable providing that information, they can either contact us directly to submit payment or they may send a money order. Please be aware that we will not proceed with the order until payment is received. If the borrower is paying via credit card, submit the credit card number AND the 3-digit security code which is located on the back of their card as well as the name as it appears on the card and billing address should it be different than the address on file. All of the credit card information should be entered on the order form prior to submission. If the borrower is paying via online check, either you or the borrower can click on the “ACH online” tab that can be found on our homepage. Should this be the preferred method of payment, please mark your order form “pre-pay check” under payment options. If the loan officer or parent company is paying for the appraisal, we will need their credit card information, including security code, before the appraisal will be ordered. Important to note is the order is not considered complete nor will the appraisal be scheduled without payment provided in full. It is mandatory that the “payment authorization forms”, either credit card or online check, be signed by the borrower. These forms can be found on our homepage. This is for your protection as well as ours. 4. Submit the completed order form. Coast to Coast will contact a full certified and qualified appraiser who is eligible to perform the type of appraisal you need anywhere, nationwide. The appraiser will contact your borrower to schedule a time that is convenient while sticking to the approved timeline. You will be kept updated with information such as when the inspection is scheduled, when the inspection complete and when the report will be delivered through our 24/7 tracking technology. These updates will be delivered to you via email and are also available should you log into our system. Upon completion, the appraisal will be returned to us and will be hand-reviewed for accuracy as well as run through an automated review system. After the appraisal has been fully reviewed, the completed report will be forwarded on to you via email. Should you have any questions on the status of your order, you can go to the "client log on" section of the website and look into the file you are inquiring about. 5. Should an order need to be cancelled for any reason, there will be a cancellation fee. In most cases, the cancellation fee will be $25. However, it can be up to 10% of the total cost of the appraisal fee pre-inspection and up to 50% post-inspection, prior to the appraiser completing the report. Once the appraiser has completed the report, there will be no refund possible no matter what the circumstances.6.
